Professional Experience and Education

In 2005 Keith and his business partner Karl Beisel started the New Hampshire Sports and Social Club in January 2005. What began as a way to stay active and have fun has become a thriving business, with leagues in Manchester, Portsmouth, Nashua, Massachusetts' North Shore, and Portland, Maine. The NHSSChas created two full-time administrative positions andprovided avaluable second income to dozens of referees. Keith's wife, Kelleigh, now oversees the NHSSC on a full-time basis.

In April 2007, Keith used his life savings to lease a derelict building on Manchester's Elm Street. The restaurant he opened there has become one of best-known and most successful in the region. Three years and two expansions later, Murphy's Taproom employs 22 people full-time and 15 part-time.
